Today is my uncle Tito's birthday and of course there will be a lot of breathtaking foods, ok , I know that I am on this diet plan, but, oh but, this doesn't happen everyday and the foods are just irresistible, So I just can't help to "grab-a-plate" setting aside my supposedly calorie-counting plan, The meal includes the newest cake that I ever tasted from "Red ribbon" they call it Cherry-Chocolate (although I am not pretty sure about its real name, but the cherry and chocolate with whip cream all mixed together, ah heaven! Plus my uncle Greg's specialty, Sweet and Sour Fish, the pancit malabon and grilled chicken that my titas ordered and the Ice cream that we are all expecting a little later.
I am very aware that there could be chances that I can gain back to 123 or more pounds. But obviously that is not what I planned. But, you know, its not that I am being defensive of my current actions. But, I realized that, I am being too serious of losing weight, where it came to the point that I am limiting myself in a lot of sweet things in life.
Maybe I'm just letting myself drowned to the definitive trend of looking good.
And, I am somehow becoming too desperate which I definitely don't want
Still. losing weight will still be on my list! ^^

My Beautiful 7th Principle..
So far I am now on my 7th day of my "Credo to do" experiment-- (Im not really sure though If that is what I should call it)-- lols.. but anyway moving on: Here is the recap of my said 6 principles for the past 6 days..
1st day: If you have to do something ahead, do it right now.
2nd day: No matter how tempting it is don't give in.
3rd day: Trust and stick on to your conscience (This is my version of trusting your instincts, i prefer conscience, it makes me more human)^^
4th day: Think before you act!
5th day: Be a Lady in every way
6th day: Do things in a Step by Step process..
Here is my 7th principle "Whatever you do, do it beautifully"
Well I have to admit, this is just right in time, I definitely need this one. Thanks God!
"Beauty lies in the specific looks of a person, rather than the object, because different people feel beauty in different things." --"Vally

Amazing loss yet great gain!!
Big news for me, I just lost 2 pounds from 123 pounds I am now on 121 pounds.. woot woot, so that means 4 pounds to go and yet I still got 12 days. YEah. I can do this right! I haven't gettin even started on my hip hop abs. lols
As I was thinking, I think I should do this more often, I mean setting up goals, which always puts me always into challenge. And turn out, I am gaining more of myself and of my ability and self trust.. Its a good thing though that I am having this optimism going on, it truly helps built the hope within me..

Weight loss plan!!
how am I be able to manage to lose weight?
First things first! Based on my research, the amount of calories that I need to consume per day is 1950 kcal! Ok fair enough, I'll stick to that!
Now let's analyze the foods that I consume in my usual day!
RICE (3cup) = 242 cal/cup x 3 cups = 726 cal
Ice cream (vanilla) (1 cup) = 145cal
powdered milk (3 scoops) = 220 cal
3 bread (1 cup) = 120 cal/cup x 3 =360 cal
chocolates = 170 cal
plus the calories from our viand which usually contains cooking oils, butter and pork! Grr.
well anyway the point is that I am consuming foods more than the amount of calories that my body requires that is why I blow up to 123 pounds.
so My first plan is to limit my food under the amount that my body requires not of what I demands! haihz
Second: I gonna need some exercise! That means jogging every morning and hip hop abs in the afternoon!!
Third: I will have to drink 8-10 glasses of water a day.. you can never get too much water!
And last, is tough discipline, yes, discipline is what I need and lack. But YES! I can do this alright. I will do my freakin' best to make this happen.
NOw, for my specific goal: After 1 week of hardworking I will be able to lose 3 pounds..
God Bless us all!!=)

New goal for summer!!
Today is my fifth day of my experiment and my principle for today is "Think before you act" so far so good. I am valuing my principles and somehow it is working for me in a way that I am being reminded all the time. cool right!
Now besides the fact that I am up to mastering my life's principles, I have a new short-term goal and it is to lose weight this summer!!
I don't get it why instead I lose weight while on school I gain pounds? Whew, my jeans are becoming too tight for me, and I am not liking the way my whole arms starts to occupy the sleeves of my uniform.! Oh boy I badly need to lose some!!
So let's get this started with!!
First and foremost my baseline weight now is freaking 123llbs!! gosh I never see that coming!!
Now for my goal! I need to regain my weight at 117 llbs..
And the total weight loss should be 6 pounds. And for 18 days? call me crazy! I just need it badly!Lolz.
This will going to be tough. Good thing I have my hip-hop abs with me, lols in fact hip hop abs has been very helpful! I recommend it to everyone.
But first I need to modify my diet! and that means tough discipline. No to chocoloates, and lesser meals in the night..
Let's see. My goal is to lose at most 6 pounds and at least 4 pounds. Wish me luck!!

Credo for today.
One of my weakest point is not being consistent of my actions. A "domino-effect" kind of attitude that is getting not only on my nerves but also my mom's and the other people concerned. So yesterday in my midst of thinking, I decided to make an experiment that hopefully will help me. I call it
"Credo for today"
well, this is something that I don't usually do, but if it is something that can potentially help, might as well give it a try. So what I will do is to pick a life's principle for a day. Then, I will do my best to value that principle for the 24 hour period.I mean who really knows what's gonna happen??
I will provide at least 30 principles and it will be picked randomly for every day. This experiment will last only for 31 days. And I hope I can get something out of this.Call me nuts I don't care.
The idea is, If I am meant to be someone better. Then I will just have to trust my guts now and ask God for strength. It might be easy to say, but with God nothing is impossible! =)

Fed up on restarts!
Just seen the movie "Julia and Julie". and I have to say it went well, I liked how the movie try to address the value of pursuing your goals by being into it or just simply putting your heart on it.
I know that we all have our goals, aspirations and dreams in life. Maybe, we can do it or maybe we can't. And so they say that what we will be is how we live our life. I am very aware of that, but sometimes I see it as something that is "so good to be true".
I am talking about distractions, everyday stressors such as people! what can you expect, and of course my emotional instability.
I am almost like a branch that is about to break. I definitely need a restart. But somehow I kind of getting fed up of restarts. Why can't I just stay stable and consistent?
Or maybe I just need to start valuing things right now!!
well, what do you think?

Gloria Stepping Down for Congress!!
Gloria stepping down to congress
Despite the many and harsh criticisms that are thrown against her, President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo no doubt is running for congress for the upcoming election in 2010. She filed her certificate of candidacy at the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) office on December 1, 2009 (Tuesday) in San Fernando City, Pampanga, to run for the 2nd congressional district of the province. Pampanga being the first and largest province in the island of Luzon is divided into four legislative districts. The second District is comprised of the municipalities of Floridablanca, Guagua, Porac, Santa Rita, Sasmuan and Lubao.
Not ready to leave public service
According to her, it was a tough decision having a lot of things to consider and options to choose after she finally ends her term as the president of the Philippines. But, she emphasizes that one of her important reasons for running is because she wants to remain serving the people in Pampanga, which apparently is her hometown particularly in Lubao. In a recorded interview aired over the government-run dzRB radio station, Arroyo said: "Gaya ng alam ninyo, hiniling rin ako ng mga mamayan ng aking tahanang distrito sa Pampanga na manatili sa buhay publiko”
"After much soul-searching, I have decided to respond affirmatively to their call. To that end, I will file my (certificate of) candidacy for Congress in order to serve the hardworking people of my home province," she said.
Mrs. Arroyo added: "I am not ready to step down completely from public service."
The mere fact
The candidate we are dealing here has been in chief position for about nine years from now and apparently has a poor impression to many Filipinos. And since this is a free country with tons of outspoken people, what more can we expect to hear? In an estimated average, about 65% of people oppose her candidacy, saying that she is again only after the “kaban ng bayan”. Others say that she is becoming too egocentric like what her half sister, former Vice Gov. Cielo Macapagal-Salgado is pointing out. Salgado said in an interview with GMA News. "Nakasiyam na taon na siya, di ba? You have reached the highest post na binigay sa iyo ng mamamayan. Binigyan ka na ng pagkakataon, bigyan mo naman ng pagkakataon 'yung iba”.
Whereas to others they say that her candidacy is nothing but a plot, having it as stepping stone on being a prime minister. Although, 25% finds nothing wrong about it and even agrees she is fit for the job. The remaining 10% doesn’t seem to bother at all.
The mere fact is Gloria’s plan for candidacy is most likely to be badly criticized by many. But hey, before we fully establish our own opinions about this controversy, let’s try to consider her side into thinking.
There is nothing wrong
Primarily, there are no illegal impediments about it. Once a government officer rescinded a position in any elective capacity, he or she has the right to run for any position in the government as long as he or she is a qualified private citizen. So in other words like any other government officers, Mrs. Arroyo has the Right, the Privilege and the Prerogative. Secondly, she fits the suit. Pampanga is known for its rich agricultural and fishing industry, thus, the province deserves an economically competitive leader. Mrs. Arroyo is not that bad economist in fact she is considered as one of the topnotch economist in our country. She obtained a Master's degree in Economics from the Ateneo de Manila University and a doctorate degree in Economics from the University of the Philippines. And, she was a professor in economics at UP and Ateneo University. Not bad at all for a province like Pampanga.
Living in Democracy
It’s not that I am “pro-Gloria” and all. But, personally, I don’t see anything wrong about her candidacy because basically it’s her right, her privilege and her prerogative and she is unquestionably fit for the job. Yes, we all have our own opinions. But don’t we think we are taking this democratic view to far? Judging people on how they should lead their life is not democracy.
Further throwing harsh comments won’t even make any difference on her decision and neither will bring benefits to our country, instead were just imposing another image of conflict. No one knows her real intentions anyway. She said that she is not yet ready to give up public service, whoever knows what that means. Why judge? Democracy is for everyone. All we can do is to face this reality and learn to respect each one’s freewill; we don’t prevent people from doing what they want, we just have to live with it. And maybe, rather than blabbering around and making this more controversial, why don’t we try to look at ourselves first and ask, is it ok that someone would hinder us on something we are right of having? And instead of harsh words against people, why won’t we just pray and hope for the best, that in spite of all the short comings, God will help make things right. And besides, by the end of the Election Day the decision will still be up to the hands of the voters.
